Hi! We may have had an issue on our CIFS Server. I say "may" because I don't really think so... but as par of another issue I had to check the NetApp's CIFS server.
There were one or two CIFS related errors in the event log, but nothing serious... But I did run this: "cifs domain discovered-servers show" which returned an empty list... which I found wierd?
I then ran the command with the "reset-servers" option and it pulled a list of DCs... Now my question is, if it's a concern that this list was empty? Will the CIFS Server refresh this list periodically?

I have seen it a couple times that all servers in the list show "undetermined", but that the list is completely empty is a new one I think. However, usually, the system does the DC discovery process as soon as a CIFS client connects, so you should be safe in either case as long as DNS and time and so on are correctly configured
