Have you tried the lookup?

Its not an answer to your question directly per say. But if you know if certain objects are supposed to hit an old ILM then you can fake an object that matches that rule and then look up to see if it did indeed use that ILM rule to decide its placement on the grid nodes.

Looking up metadata is part of the solution, but with thousands of objects to check, it will be complicated.
I will open a support ticket and hope there is some "magical" trick that will help me.
