Hi,

I tried to monitor an IPv6 only Cluster with NAbox 4.0.11. I can't even add an FQDN with AAAA only record. Adding v6 into /etc/nabox/harvest/harvest.yml doesn't work, too. Checked the running container and noticed there is only an IPv4 address configured, v6 seems to be disabled completely. Can I enable v6 somehow. At least the harvest poller should have a v6 interface/address.

Users actually asked that v6 being disabled for security reasons.

Obviously the feature needs to be properly implemented of course.

What protocol do you need for IPv6 configuration ? Dhcpv6 ? RA ?

Hi, we use SLAAC/RA in our Environment. Especially plain Management-Interfaces are v6 only to save v4 space.

If some users are concernt about security risks IPv6 could be an optional setting.

Yes indeed. The idea would be to enable only what’s necessary.

I’ll get on it but that’ll require some time.
