#What could it happen to LINUX system if NFS connection gets blocked?

If for some reasons, the client subnet to NFS vlan in NetApp gets blocked, and it blocked NFSv3 on the Linux server, what will it happen to the server?
Could it tend to hang?

it can, yes. ours often do, in fact, hang. Have to manually go in and kill the process/mount
