Hi everyone,
our VMware Team was asked to go from ESXi, 8.0.3, 24674464 to ESXi, 8.0.3, 24859861. During the first esxi update on ontap select node crashed. Now the node is back now online, but the ontap select deploy is now unable to reach out the esxi's?! ONTAP Select Deploy = NetApp Release 9.16.1 Build:7442674 ONTAP Nodes = ONTAP 9.15.1P7 NetApp case is open. Has anyone had a similar issue?

The main U3 issues were fixed in ONTAP 9.15.1P2 and Deploy 9.16.1. Support is probably the best option in your case.

Thank you for your response. In the meantime, we had a session with the current case owner. We now have a plan for how to proceed with the ESXi upgrade. However, the cause of the issue is still under investigation.
