Can we Integrate the Azure AD with our On-prem FAS/AFF while creating SVM with CIFS Protocol? Customer has AD in azure.. and customer wants to integrate the storage with the AD.. Can we do that?

You need a (regular) Domain Controller for CIFS, as the "Azure AD" is not really an Active Directory (from a protocol point of view). At least that's how it has been in the past, but I doubt Microsoft has changed anything in that regard. You might be able to run that Domain Controller as a VM in the cloud though
