Good morning,
Wonder if anyone is available to help, We have a FAS 2750 running around 200 VMS and I've expressed to my senior we require an upgrade to all flash however he won't accept it through a conversion on Discord or Reddit does anyone have a NetApp.com email where they can be reached to have a conversation with about the spec sheets etc to prove we require an upgrade?

I did have a conversation with TMAC last time and I believe over a Reddit thread aswell over on /r/sysadmin

if you need some more ammo to push through the upgrade.....how new/old is the 2750 ?.. we have some customers running them and they are coming upto 4-5 years and just the savings over 3-4 years on maintenance renewals makes the upgrade to a AFF C250/C30 very compelling.. Also if your doing VMware only maybe look at ASA.. You can get better pricing on the ASA than AFF if your not using NFS/CIFS

Looks like the post originally had an @ mention for the bot, so it responded 😆
I deleted the reply it gave. At least it was entertaining.

@onyx iron has a NetApp.com email address and is our principal on all-things VMware

We also have a #╰・virtualization channel if there’s anything virt-specific you want to chat with the group here about outside of the scope of this hardware performance convo

I talked with him, got a perf case opened. Turned out to be an overloaded aggr (back-2-back-2-back CP/100% disk util). he was in the process of relocating a large VM from aggr1 -> aggr2. It will likely help a little, but it is a 2720 -> with internal SSD as cache and external SATA (no SAS disks)
