#Grafana / Harvest UI customisation?

Hi All, a quick user interface question ... How can we best customise the dashboards page (or create a new "landing" page) specific to our own deployment? E.g. we don't need to show links to 7-Mode or StorageGrid Dashboards, so I'd like to hide or delete those - some users find these a bit confusing. Also, is it possible to create new links for "pre-filtered" Dashboards, that would be scoped to only show specific systems, for example: "Berlin-DataCentre" or "Metro Cluster Systems" or "Nearstore Clusters"?

It seems like "Tags" might be useful here, although I'm not sure what they are intended for ...

It's better to copy the relevant dashboards into a separate folder and modify them as needed. Harvest-shipped dashboards will be overwritten when using bin/grafana import or when harvest is upgraded in NABox.

OK - That's a good tip about avoiding getting overwritten.

#

What about some "custom filtering" ... Can I copy ONTAP:Switch, customise it to reference/contain/show only the Ethernet Ports used for MetroCluster ISL links (i.e. Eth1/21, 22, 23, 24) and then name it e.g. as "MCC:ISL Info"

#

Is something like that feasible?

yes, that will work and nothing should overwrite your changes

Thanks - I'll try that. Is there an attribute I can use (somewhere) to scope/filter the Dashboard so that only MCC (MetroCluster Clusters) are selected?
