We have a strange error which is only present in the logs "Shelf Fault on shelf attached to 0a" (only on one of the controllers).. doesn't specify any more in the logs... The system health subsystem... doesn't show any errors... the "environment status show" show this on shelf 0 (where the controllers are installed) "ACP installed element list: 1, 2; with error: 1, 2".... that's pretty much it 😉 any suggestions? This might have been introduced when we attached a new shelf... but also pretty sure it's connected correctly...

..also when running "sysconfig -a" all shelfs can be seen on 0b but shelf 0 is missing on 0a..
Without any versions, cabling info, etc not so easy, could be many reasons
- check if latest IOM version, also what IOM model, if IOM12B (or even the new IOM12C) involved, make sure ONTAP version and IOM firmware is current, check the NetApp KB for more infos, there are many articles
- could also be SAS cable error, rare but happens
- sometimes it's transient and reseating helps (of controller and/or IO-modules)
There are some more deep dive sasadmin CMDs which could help but I would check the other stuff first.
that the internal shelf is the one missing is pretty rare though, don't think I have ever experienced that one.
But yeah, takeover and reseating of the controller might help
