I think I read somewhere that there was a limit of how many Cluster Peers you can have on a cluster... (8 I think...)
Is this a thing, or did I misunderstand it? We are currently setting up a few MetroClusters to do backups to one cluster... and the thing with MetroClusters, is that they have two clusters for each system... so it quickly gets interresting... so we may surpass this 8 cluster limit soon...
#Max Cluster Peers?

the limit was with the number of intercluster LIFs per node. That limit was 8, but I think it has been since increased to 16 or something
so as long as you peer your clusters through the same intercluster LIFs, you're good. If you're hosting multi-tenant workloads and need separate IP spaces for every cluster peer, good luck 🙂
