Does anyone have experience with this config? I am getting permission errors when the vms are on a Netapp SMB volume. I cannot do any migrations between hosts because whatever host that creates the vm on the share is the only one that has permissions. I have verified all share and NFTS permissions are set to full permissions for both vms, as well as everyone, and the I created a SMB share on a different file server and do not have this problem. This is using Kerberos auth and constrained delegation which allows the SVM and both Hyper-V hosts to act on behalf of eachother for CIFS. The other issue is the Hyper-V hosts have 2 virtual nics that SMB traffic can leave but the Netapp only responds on 1 node instead of both (multi channel).

There’s definitely more to it than just configuring the share! Review the configuring in the link
This is the page I went through a few times, but I will try to go over it again with a magnifying glass. If there is some small detail I missed than I am sure its a common issue or people are not using SMB. Unless I am encountering a bug.
