#StorageGrid Overview - Network traffic PB/s

I see some strange things in the the dashboard StorageGrid: Overview and more specifically the Network traffic panel.
The unit for what I assume would be throughput is "PB/s" and I am pretty sure we are not utilizing hundreds of PB/s.
It is also suspiciously "locked" at 277 PB/s for the last week.

The graph also shows 100% Transmitted which I think is incorrect and should be Received as we haven't started using StorageGrid yet, just importing data.
But perhaps I am interpreting the data wrong.

Hi @warped nexus What version of Harvest are you using? If you hover over the panel in question and press e can you copy/paste what you see for the A query?

Harvest is version 25.02.0 but I am unable to provide the query information as the dashboard/panel seems to be broken.
When I enter Edit I get the following error:

Details
SecurityError: Failed to construct 'Worker': Access to the script at 'blob:https://grafsrv/526cb9fc-8adf-4dd6-98f2-70421e7d6110' is denied by the document's Content Security Policy.```

That is unexpected 🙂 what version of Grafana and how did you install them? RHEL, native, Nabox, etc.

Sorry, forgot to mention it is NAbox 4.0.8 🙂

It seems like I can't enter Edit mode through e on any panel on other dashboards as well.
Perhaps a dashboard reset is needed, is there such a function in NAbox v4?
I think there used to be a button for it.

Yes that’s a known issue. 4.0.10 should fix most of it I believe

@warped nexus can you try upgrading to 4.0.10 per Yann's message above?

warped nexus

Absolutely! Didn't realize we were that far behind already.

@warped nexus Thanks for the query, This is expected query for network traffic panel in Storage Grid - Overview Harvest dashboard.
We have checked locally with Harvest panel for that SG and StorageGrid's own dashboard and they looks same just Harvest shows value in MB/s whereas StorageGrid own dashboard shows as Mb/s. Attached the screenshot for the same.

Could you compare your data with StorageGrid's own dashboard, which can be viewed this way, https://{SG_IP_ADDRESS}/d/grid/grid and apply the same time range as Harvest panel for better comparison. And you could share both of the screenshot with us for further troubleshooting if any discrepancy found.

I see, thank you for the explanation.
The StorageGrids own panel is also showing wild network traffic numbers (1.8 Eb/s) but at least the Harvest panel is showing the same numbers (just different unit).

I assume this is because StorageGrid is confused as we only have activity from a S3 SnapMirror for migrating data into SG.
Any other theories? 😅

True, I will wait though until we should have some real data in there.
Thank you very much for your support!

If I understand it correctly this counter is a sum of all node traffic in the grid.
