#Node shutdown while holding Partner Aggregate

We faced a HW-Issue (SP Heartbeat Stopped) where Node-A had to reboot.
Storage Takover happened and Node-A came back online.

The giveback of one SFO Aggr was vetoed because of CIFS-Locks.
We have to wait for a ,forced‘ Giveback (override-vetoes) because we need an official Maint window due to critical Applications using CIFS.

What would happen if Node-B goes offline while holding its partners aggregate in takeover state? Is the Giveback forced or is the aggregate going offline with the node?

Thanks in advance!

In the environments I've worked in, I've never had an issue overriding vetoes due to CIFS locks. I guess it might be different in your environment. To answer your question, the partners aggr will go down with Node-B.
