My customer is looking for a other ops break out chart how to get the meta data or IO breakout chart on Harvest/Grafana

@cold forge Harvest currently provides the metric volume_nfs_other_ops. Although this metric hasn’t been added to the Grafana dashboard yet, we could add it into the Volume dashboard if it meets your needs. Does that work for you?

can we include all counter from other ops, like getattr, readattr, latency etc. in the dash board?

Those should already be included in the Volume dashboard > Performance Row or do you mean something else?

These are the performance metrics that Harvest is collecting for volume https://github.com/NetApp/harvest/blob/3eca85ebbd440114d132f5f3c993f3d7afba6e7c/conf/restperf/9.12.0/volume.yaml#L6 The two panels that I shared above are summing by metric names that match the regex volume_nfs_(.*)_latency (left panel) and volume_nfs_(.*)_ops (right panel) That means the left panel is showing the latency breakdown for each of the highlighted ones in this screenshot
Similarly, the right panel is showing the ops breakdown for each of the highlighted ones

Hi Chris, one more Question do we have any counter that provides the nature(random/sequential) of the read/write traffic that is being generated when running a workload
