#Dashboard: External Service Operation?

Hi All,

If I enabled "External Service Operation" what might I see? I guess this might refer to services such as DNS, AD and/or NTP?
I'd certainly be interest in how long DNS lookups are taking, for example.

hi @calm hare here's the ONTAP documentation for that object.

In their typical operation, SecD and Name Services connect with many servers on the network to access services that they provide. The external_service_op object represents a specific operation provided by a service on an external server.
