#Restore of SQL VM with multiple disks in SMVI 6.0.1 ?

I am doing a few restore tests... I restore VMs onto another datastore and another VLAN, so the AD DC etc. which all had only one VMDK-disk went without any problems... I was able to choose "Alternative destination" etc... but I now have VM that has 15 disks on different datastore even... and it all goes to "hell" 😉 I am not asked if I want to restore to an alternative location.. I am just presented with a restore scope which isn't much use as I cannot change anything... so if I just do a "next..." my guess is that it will overwrite the original... So basically the GUI is useless for this... and I will have to do this manually I guess? Looking at the manual for SMVI is't very basic and nonchalant... basically only describing simple restores... Now this specific VM is actually a SQL Server with an appliaction on it.. and we use "SnapCenter" to do the SQL database backups.. and the LOG/DB etc.. is located on different datastores for this reason (all VMDKs on iSCSI datastores)... this is all supported by SnapCenter... and restores of databases works OK. But if we have to restore the Windows server first, then the datastores.. it all goes south (if you use the SMVI)... but maybe I am going about this all wrong? any suggestions?

A little update... all but two of the VMDKs are actually backed up via SMVI (Windows boot and Application drive)... the other VMDKs for SQL Server are on other datastores and excluded by the SMVI per configuration (Exclude Spanning Disks)... so the restore is actually pretty simple from the SMVI's perspective... yet the SMVI GUI isn't capable of this... 😦
