I'm using snapcenter 5.0p2.
To install versión 6 the setup así fo4 .net 8 and powershell 7.
Is a win2016 server, so I download .net 9 and powershell 7.5
Installs ok and reboot server.
Then execute setup 6.0 and get an error , Error Migration DotNet...
Any idea??

Hello, I install that and the full sdk .net 8, then try with .net 9, finally I install a new win2022 and put the 6.0, but now can't update the cliente.
I had win2012r2 and win2016 with sql 2012 and sql2014.
In Snapcenter server 6.0 try add the host and get and error about the client/host missing .net 8 and powershell 7.4.
I install .net9 and powershell 7.5 on win2016 but don't work , the plugin don't install.
Also now I uninstall the crash snapcenter server , is other vm, abd i'm trying to reinstalar snapcenter server 5.02p , all plugins are updated to 5.02p.
I need to clon some db for a urgente migration.
I'm thinking shutdown sql server and clone the vol via CLI and reconect on hyper-v host to make the urgent upgrade .... also create a case on Netapp
Now, after all day with this I don't know witch version is work with each win server.... I'm lost...

Your first issue is snapcenter install on 2012 is not supported from 6.0 onwards. You can however upgrade to 6 onwards and continue to use version 5 for the plugin.. it will work but not supported.

Hello, Ok ok so in win2012 i must install plugin 5.0p2 manually and it should show it in snapcenter server 6??
Now the snapcenter server 5 is working again and I could do the clon I urgent need.
Then in a few week I can uninstall all pluging, reinstalar win2019 with snapcenter server 6, .net 9 y poweshell 7.5.
And then install plug 5 on win2012 server.
That should work???

You will need to install 6 then uninstall from the plugin server then do a silent install of 5. So make sure you got the plugin from the 5 repository before you start. If it's already on 5 then you are fine you just don't upgrade the plugin when you update the sc main server
