Is it possible to stop the deamon on Active IQ so i can change the passwords on all the netapps and after that change it in Active IQ, because now the problem is that when i change the password on the Netapp and Active IQ polls the same time with the old passwords it locks

you can stop the acq service (ocieau on Linux platforms), but there's nothing to pause polling in the UI.

if you're on a vApp and and can't easily access the services through the OS, there's a KB on how to get to the diag shell.

the vApp uses the same commands as RHEL for stopping/starting the services.
