We have a fairly busy NFS environment with constant churn in users & groups (served up via LDAP). Today a colleague had to manually flush the credential and group caches on one vserver to clear up a client problem. We discovered that the credential positive caching time is still set to the old ONTAP <9.10 values.
Is there any side effect to dialing this down to the new 1 hour time?

#Change NFS credential cache TTLs?

Environment is a 12-node cluster running 9.14.1P4.
I suspect that the only real side effect would be if we also adjusted the name service cache values as well (https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap/nfs-admin/commands-manage-name-service-cache-reference.html ) and that would just increase LDAP server load. Which is acceptable.
