Hello
We are replacing old brocade 6510 with new brocade G720 on site A.
Site B has brocade G610.
Old configuration only used 16Gb/s on the switches. However the new switches have 32 Gb/s connectivity.
The 4 nodes also have 32 Gb/s ports.
We will be connecting HPE DL360 - ESXi 8 hosts - Dual port SN1610Q at 32 Gb/s.
We are wondering if we should go with two mixed fabric or two homogeneous fabric for ISL.
Mixed fabric would have site A at 32/32 Gb/s, and site B at 16/16 Gb/s.
Homogeneous would have both site with 32/16 Gbs, which could incur latency problems with multipathing.
Any insights ?
