#Does NaBox timesync via Vmware tools?

I noticed timesync is disabled in timesyncd. The logs I am using to troubleshoot an LDAP issue are out. I need to be UTC +10 and its configured by default to UTC 0. I could modify timesyncd.conf, but i want to understand how the appliance is intended to be configured.

Timezone is not part of the internal clock of the system. NAbox does sync with VMware tools so it should be on time. You don’t need to use a specific time zone for ssl and such to work.

Thanks for this, I'll check the VMware side and see if there is a sync issue there. I suspect though that the time itself needs to be in sync, if nothing else but to correlate errors in the log with external events. The pattern in this environment is to use an external time source rather than VMware sync. I may need to customise the appliance configuration.
