Hi all,
I am trying to set up federation for admin logon to SG.
Can someone clarify which network is used for connecting to AD?

An example setup would be highly appriciated!

the network with a route to your AD controllers... unfortunately, this was the "grid" network when we first set things up...

but we added a net route to the subnets with AD controllers from the admin interface, iirc

Take care, there's a couple of 'caveats' with networking... Static routes, and the number of networks defined... It's pretty well documented https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/storagegrid/network/storagegrid-network-types.html#grid-network....

We solved the issue (it appears there were two):

Add the subnets were the domain controller lives to the AESL
Some characters are not allowed in the service account password (I suspect # and $).

You can add, delete, or change the subnets in the Admin Network Subnet List of one or more nodes.
