Hi guys, we have setup an eval cluster on ONTAP Select 9.16.1... we have now installed the Capacity Pool license, and want to add our eval cluster to this license. The license has enough capacity and license level to "hold" this cluster, yet we cannot modify the cluster and select our capacity license... We can see the two nodes in our cluster inside the Capacity Tier but the system puts them here by default if you spin up an eval... If we try from the command line we get this error: Error[500]: NodeLicenseNotCapacityTier - Cluster license modify can only be performed using a capacity tier license. The license serial number "331000765" provided for node "PLZBW1-NASC001-01" is not of type capacity tier.
#ONTAP Select... how to add eval cluster into Capacity Pool license?

You can't convert a cluster using eval licenses to use a Capacity Pool license. It's really not possible we tried and asked NetApp.
Issue is mainly that nodes using a Capacity Pool license will use SNs generated by the License Manager instance in the Deploy VM.
Currenltly it's only supported to convert an eval cluster to production if your're using a dedicated Capacity Tier license.
So the only way is to deploy a new production cluster using the Capacity Pool license and migrate your workloads from the eval cluster.
