Cluster was powered on and saw expired certificates renewed them all.
But facing the below issue "CONNECTION FOR THE SITE IS NOT SECURE, USES UNSUPPORTED PROTOCOL"

I know the system is out of support, but we are moving data from this cluster to a new AFF-900
Any thoughts to resolve this.

you renewed the SSL/http certificate, and activated it?
View the cert being served in the browser to make sure it is the correct one

I am not able to view the certificate.
I have deleted the old certificate and applied the new one.

you either need to use an older browser, or decrease the security of your browser so that it accepts legacy SSL versions

Thanks @errant relic @primal timber

Understood. I think it's better to upgrade the ONTAP version of this cluster at least to ONTAP 9 and see what can be done.

This is FAS2552 running 8.3P2 and I think it supports upto ONTAP 9.8

Another question, can we go from 8.3P2 to ONTAP 9.1 directly??

see here

From Data ONTAP 8.3.x:
You can upgrade directly to ONTAP 9.1, then upgrade to later releases.

#

then, once you're on 9.1, you need these steps

#

always upgrade to the latest P-release in the respective version

What's the difference between 8.3p2 and 8.3.1p* versions ?? Are these same or which one is latest..

Do I need upgrade from 8.3p2 to 8.3.1p* version?

According to the 9.1 upgrade/revert guide, you can upgrade directly from 8.3.0 (aka 8.3), no need to go to 8.3.1 or even 8.3.2. It's been so long that I had to do this that I don't remember any specific bugs or issues from back then. Generally, if you want to reduce the possible issues to a minimum, I would suggest going to 8.3.2P<latest> first if you can
