Hello All,
Curious if anyone here has had any success at all with using a SFP-to-RJ45 adapter on the c-series host networking ports 1a-1d . If you just can't get your hands on a true SFP+ switch and you only have a RJ45 10-baseT external switch.

There are two on board 10g base t ports. Have you tried to use them yet?
It’s not supported to use an rj45 transceiver in those slots. That said, it may work

We have successfully used 10GBase-T converter transceivers in 10GbE SFP+ ports. But not in 25GbE SFP28 ports. Chances are they work there as well but the only way to be sure is to try.
And as TMAC said, it's not supported so if you are having trouble you're on your own 😉

Yep sounds about right about "having trouble" LOL. Yeah the 10 Gbe would be easy but they are already in use for other type or network traffic. Thanks for the response!
