I have a group that would like to use Octa for file rights in a share, and I could swear I saw something about that in like OS 9.12, but can't find anything now. My company is trying to remove AD and used native Octa instead if possible. Thanks for any input! FAS8200 on OS 9.15

wait, I may have found my own answer, SAML2. Has anyone used this to manage the files in a share?

I think you're confusing two things. SAML2 is for authentication to the admin GUI. For the files in the shares, you can only use NTFS ACLs or UNIX modebits/NFS4 ACLs (depending on the security style of the volume)
