Hi all,
Looking for a best practice, guideline on jumbo frames on the intercluster interfaces used for snapmirror.
My feeling says 9000 when possible on all nodes and clusters. But cannot find any documentation....
Thanks!!

From experience it doesn't make much of a difference at all. Reduced CPU usage is marginal

There's no real best practice outside of ensuring the entire network path supports the configured MTU. That is less of an issue these days, but still necessary if you want higher than standard MTU.

It’s more of a concern over a WAN connection. I’ve had customers set the mtu to 1490 too accommodate wan devices to prevent fragmenting

But I try to set to 9000 whenever possible. Makes a huge difference on the initial transfer of large data sets
