#Updating EMS Events catalogue to include all supported events from ONTAP EMS reference

Dear NetApp Harvest Support Team,

By comparing the current EMS Alert Runbook with the latest ONTAP EMS reference, it seems that many events are missing. Are there any plans to upgrade the catalogue in Harvest?

hi @open reef that is correct, there are many EMS events that are noisy so Harvest went with a smaller set of validated events that we're confident all customers Harvest will want to track.

Like all the other templates, you can also add/remove to the defaults. We're also happy to talk about adding any specific ones that you there are broadly useful.

Also worth mentioning that in version 24.11.0 we updated the Health dashboard to include all emergency EMS events from the last 24 hours. Screenshots here https://github.com/NetApp/harvest/issues/3149#issuecomment-2447606315
