Hi everyone,

I've a system which has some applications setup. It seems it's using the pg-rpo-hourly snapshot policy.
What I'm trying to achieve is to edit the policy or simply switch to a classic snapshot policy on the volumes.

But in tha last option i cannot as the volumes are part of an app. Is it possible to delete it without losing data ?
If not, how can i edit the pg-rpo-houly policy ?

Looks like to me it has been set up like this from a tool like UM or something else but I don't have them available anymore now.

Thanks a lot,

You can edit the snapshot policy for the application, if that fits your purpose, by editing the application. That policy will apply to all volumes associated with the application. You can disassociate a volume from an application with the command: application volume remove -vserver vs_name -application app_name -volume vol_name HOWEVER, once the last volume associated with the application is removed, the application will be deleted. FURTHERMORE, the command has a note that it is provide to support downgrade and revert to previous versions, and should not be used for any other purpose. I would make sure that I snapmirrored that data to another volume.
