Hello folks ,

I just created a quote for a C60 but there is no real info on the HW ; most likely is based on A50 model aka 2U , 48 Core , 256GB ddr5 , 144 max drive count , 32GBNVDIMM / NVRAM / 8 IO expansions .

Is there a tech presentation that show the hw for this c60 model ? it is very interesting from q this is quite powerfull model .

Rigt now the assumption is that this is basically an A50 with QLC's ( similar how in the past C800 was compared with A800 as ex ) .

Regards,
Alex.

C60 is not an A50 with QLCs, different CPUs and different amount of memory and NVMEM.

#

Unfortunately does not include (yet) which CPU and which frequency

#

I don't like the naming either because it's more difficult to compare.

ok so it is more an upgrade of C250 than C400 somewhere in the middle . has the same chassis but 32 cores half the ram 128GB and half the drive support 72 NVME's QLC interesting ; i did not expect that but even so numbers in fusion look very good .

No, performance-wise C60 is the NetApp-recommended model to upgrade a C400. But even a C30 should be faster than a C400 in most benchmarks. Check for yourself in fieldportal.
I think the main "advantage" is that the C30 starts at 122TB (raw) while you need min. 245TB raw for the C60. Also the C60 supports 61.4TB SSDs which the C30 does not support.

yet C60 is not C50 with QLC, but checked HWU, seems C60 is equvilant to A30(both 16core per node)
