Missing Disk event in changelog?

We have been using changelog for a while now and a couple of events occurred that don't show anything in the changelog metrics for the disk.

The disk in question didn't fail, or move or any other event (which we see fine), the disk simply "disappeared".

Was this something we have to set specifically to capture in the changelog metric or something that we are missing due to the version we are using (harvest-24.05.0)?

the NA system sent a callhome event but harvest didn't see anything wrong with the system. Our home grown health checks also didn't see anything wrong with the system, but the system is clearly missing a disk that was originally there.
