In short: Update your BMC if you're on one of those systems (FAS8300/FAS8700/A400) because the NVRAM battery charging circuit might fail, leading to a node shutdown within 20 minutes

yeah, and it's not the first battery charger issue either. I remember back in the FAS2250 days (or was that even earlier?) there were also quite a lot of issues with the charger not working properly etc.

The oldest of these systems are 4 years old, so some of this things are going to show up. I've also replaced a MB on this series because of charging issues
