I know this isn't the forum for a feature request, but I just wanted to know if I'm the only one that thinks this is a good idea?
Basically what I would like in ONTAP is th e possibility to delete a snapshot "with a retention", like you have in the new vSphere releases... So when you create a manual snapshot you can also say when it should be deleted again... This make sense with any manual snapshot created, because it just sits there and many times you forget about it until your volume gets too filled up, or if you have some kind og monitoring setup to catch it...
Also when you change a snapshot policy on a volume but you would like to keep the existing snapshots for x-days it would be nice to have this feature... again because you typically forget about the left snapshots on the volume... Am I the only one who think this would be a nice feature?
