We have customers that have both the NetApp E-Series 2860 and the Lenovo equivalent (can't remember the model)... but I recently manage to update the NetApp E-Series with the Lenovo firmware... which worked a charm, no warnings... it just turned it into a Lenovo box 😉 I managed to "convert" it back to NetApp with the correct firmware... but I would think things like this should be caught at the firmware upload stage? 😉

SU570 is about disk firmware
