#Why is SnapMirror dashboard only working with source and destination?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
@dim oxide The current SnapMirror dashboard only displays the source cluster view. Could you please open a feature request to include the destination cluster view?
I can see that the snapmirror destinations has been "finished" and merged into the harvest package... I tried to update my nabox to the latest nightly build in hopes that it would work, but it does not automatically appair on the list of dashboards... is it even included or do I need to import it manually?
hi @dim oxide nightlies run around midnight which means it ran before this pull request was merged. In other words, this change is not in the nightly you downloaded. In addition, there were no PRs committed yesterday so the last nightly was actually two days ago. I kicked off a nightly for you and will ping you when it's posted
new nightly posted. We'd love to hear how this new dashboard works for you once you've had a chance to try it out.
Hardik is also working on improvements to the snapmirror sources dashboard. Stay tuned.
Looks very cool! One minor thing is that the "Highlight" shows all snapmirrors even ef you select a specific SVM.. shouldn't it filter it to only show the snapmirrors for the SVM... it sorta does it in the list of relations as it shows the SVM selected as the first relations but the other SVMs are also added here... to be honnest I would excpect it so just show the relations for the specific SVM... otherwise what's even the point with the selector? 🙂
...you can setup a filter on the destination path in the list of snapmirrors where you filter so only the SVM you want is shown... the strange thing is that the other SVMs relations are shown with no details (lag etc..) so mt guess is that they should not be shown.. and again the highlight always shows all the snapmirror relations... but a great start and nice overview
