In an MCC environment with two CPDs and Ontap FabricPool (S3 on FAS2720) in Y with duplicated FabricPool.
What would be the orderly way to perform a maintenance shutdown of a CPD for the FabricPool?

What is a CPD?
In any case, first shut down both MetroCluster sites, then shut down the FabricPool systems. Startup the other way round, S3 systems first

CPD=site
During site maintenance task other site will server all service
For MCC "metrocluster switchover"
For FabricPool in maintenance site. Shutdown procedure? Any special?

just set the SG nodes to maintanence mode and you can power them down safely. One could take down the lastbalancing service in advance so that you don't get a lot of placement errors when increasing numbers of SG storage nodes go down.

Thanks, I ask for similar procedure whit a fabricpool over Ontap (Not StorageGrid). MCC with FabricPool mirrored over Ontap in Fas2720
