Could you help me? We have a project with a television station, and we were asked if there is any way to view the videos/recordings that are compressed in H.264 or H.265 that are stored on the NAS (FAS2820). As far as I know, ONTAP does not have a file viewer, but is there any way to do it?

I am not sure I understand. Why not just double click the videos in Windows Explorer?

or the equivalent on Linux/MacOS if you're using NFS

right, as long as the system is set to share the data via NFS/SMB/etc it should be the same as any other system. Unless you mean something like a streaming system that is designed to stream data via something like DLNA (plex/emby/etc). In which case, the NetApp does not do that
