I was wondering if it's currently possible to use Microsoft 365 as mail host for Autosupports. I know it has been an issue in the past.
The following KB article isn't really clear I fear: https://kb.netapp.com/on-prem/ontap/Ontap_OS/OS-KBs/Does_AutoSupport_support_Office365_as_a_smtp_server
If anyone has this setup working, I would love to hear it.
Any info would be appreciated.
#Autosupport and O365/Microsoft 365

It's not currently supported. "AutoSupport does NOT support STARTTLS communications from the NODE to Mailhost servers, including Cloud Mailhost providers like Office365."
The KB mentions customers should ask the account team "Work with your NetApp Account team to drive adoption"
This translate to having the acount team opening a fepvr to mirror the RFE that's mentioned in the KB.
fepvr is a feature enhacment request. (sales team)
rfe is request for enhacment. (support)
looks like there is also work around linked to MS docs.
Understood. Thanks for your quick reaction!
Well, that's not entirely true anymore...
this is from the 9.15.1 manual page for the autosupport modify command
if this works with O365, I don't know. But at least START_TLS should be supported by now
true.
