Hi guys, we have a system installed with ONTAP 9.15.1RC2 and ZAPI re-enabled but our task is still failing with the error "Error calling API system-get-ontapi-version: NetApp API failed. Reason - URL error:URLError(gaierror(-2, 'Name or service not known'))".

Is it possible that the ansible modules look for the ONTAP version and with 9.15.1 ZAPI will be ignored?

if "suspended" is false then it means that ZAPI is still enabled. From the error message ("URLError: name or service not known") it sounds more like a DNS issue to me
