#Upgrading Vcenter and OTV

Most likely needs reregistration. But first make sure you update OTV before you update to vCenter 8 because older versions are not compatible with the new plug-in architecture.
Check IMT or the OTV release notes which versions are compatible.
Yeah it's all compatible checked on imt.
Just need the loose instructions for reregistering back to same Vcenter. It's probably quite straightforward
Which version is OTV?
9.13p1
But OTV 10.1 just got released which finally has the GUI back. Also it's much easier to manage registration with vCenter. So if you want to try cutting-edge stuff update to 10.1.

Yeah looked at 10. Seemed a little new. Couldn't make out of it was possible to do an in place upgrade either. Don't want to throw anymore complexities or bugs into the mix before our upgrade.
Not 100% sure either, depends on which features of OTV you're currently using. If you're only using the "GUI" so no VASA provider for vVols or no SRA for SRM then I would suggest to simply delete and unregister the old version and deploy the new OTV 10.1 version from scratch. There should not be much to configure.
But if you're already using vVols you might need to migrate the data: https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap-tools-vmware-vsphere-10/migrate/migrate-to-latest-ontaptools.html
