For as long as I can remember updating ONTAP results in x-number of errors and health warnings when you login to System Manager. They will disappear after 24 hours, but they still annoy me.
Is there a way to update ONTAP without the as a result? I am of cause talking about the errors because of the failover processes...
In fact I have never ever ran the verification prior to the update where it didn't have a wast array of warnings... 🙂
As a result you run the chance og becoming immune to all these errors...
So if there is a way to "pause" the internal monitoring and alerting prior to update, that could result in a clean and healty cluster after the upgrade, it would be great..

Not possible. You will always have at least one warning before the update which is the "manuel verification steps".
