#Data Sense / Classification Multi-Tenancy?

I'm teaching a workshop for a big big Austrian Service Provider (all data on-prem) at the moment and the following question came up:

Does Classification/Data Sense support Multi-Tenancy?

I.e. do/can they install multiple classification/indexing VMs, one for each customer?
-> Every customer would probably insist on non-shared indices...
1 VM per customer could add up to dozens/hundreds...

If each customer is designated by a BlueXP account, one classification VM can be installed for each account which means each customer will have one VM and classification will work in multi tenant mode

Oh boy...

That would be hundreds of BlueXP accounts.

How do you define a tenant/customer in your case?

I do remember there is another way to deploy multiple instances but don't know if that can be used for multiple tenants. Instead it was for faster scanning.

I believe you're thinking about the scanner nodes but they are more about adding more horse power to the setup. How do they manage their customers today in BlueXP. Do each customer have their own account and the SP is then invited to each of those accounts? Or do they just have one account with multiple workspaces for each customer? In the case of workspaces the users should only see information about the files in their working environments.
