So does anyone know the latest steps to update the BMC firmware on a node? I have the link here - https://docs.netapp.com/us-en/ontap/system-admin/ontap-commands-bmc-management-reference.html
But how do you get the firmware on on the node?
Are these commands still working commands since this article is from 2021?

Use the GUI
Go to cluster
Overview
Then upper right area hit the …
Then select ONTAP update
Then select the update firmware tab
Then select “from local client”
Then point the selection to the ZIP file for the bmc platform
the zip is used by ONTAP. The tgz is used when updating from the bmc itself. Be sure to grab the CORRECT update file (update from ONTAP)
Note, if you have more than one type of node in the cluster (like a150 and fas8300) pick one platform. Send the update. Wait for acknowledgment that the platform got it c (it will generate an error for platforms it’s not for). Go to the cli and force the update:
service-process image update -node xxx (repeat on ha partner)
Wait for the update to finish. Then repeat for the other platform
