Dear All.
We have the following error on a FAS 2040 with a DS4243 disk shelf.
"dparity FAILED"
Changed the corresponding parity disk 0c.00.3 and rebuilt successfully.
The error remains and we did not have a report of broken disks before, nor now.
Any ideas to share please.

you replaced the disk, but did the node auto assign it or is it still sitting as unassigned ?

IIRC there was also a bug in some ONTAP versions that, when you replaced the disk too quickly, caused the disk to be listed twice, once in the "broken" state and once fully working in the aggregate. This would also be noticed if the full logs were shared
