Looking for some insight on setting up Datadog with Harvest. Currently we are using Cloud Insights to pull metrics from our on-prem arrays. We have been migrating things over to Datadog and so far Netapp seems to be the only one we can't get into Datadog with an integration.
We found Harvest and it seems to be the best option to scrape the metrics we want but we are looking for some insight on pulling these metrics into Datadog with Harvest.

what methods have you tried to use for integration with NetApp ONTAP and Datadog?
unless something changed they had an integration specifically for ONTAP

We are aware of the SNMP metrics and for the paid third part integration but it doesn't give us metrics such as volume size and performance metrics like Harvest ingests

Not sure how that would work, we don't have DD to look at for how to pull metrics in.
I know grafana has a DD integration, but that pulls data out of DD not push it

@shadow orbit Have you tried Datadog's agent? Looks like that's one way to have Datadog scrape open-metrics. https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/guide/prometheus-host-collection/
