Hi there,

I'm trying to enable File System Analytics on the ONTAP System manager and I noticed an error in the logs when enabling it for a specific volume:

wafl.analytics.scan.fail: File system analytics scan failed for volume "@vserver:2f97b571-c2be-11e8-b3c7-00a098dea650:XXX__0001. Error: Unknown error: 52300".

has anyone experience this error before? I can see that some metrics we want to grab in NABox via Harvest aren't being reported such as volume_analytics_dir_bytes_used and it may be because of the error above?

Wait did you try to enable FSA on a FlexGroup constituent volume?

Hi @wintry patio , yep we tried to enable FSA on a volume for this cluster and I noticed we weren't getting any logs just for this volume in NABox. I was wondering whether this error was even related - just a shot in the dark!

Ok...but FSA has to be enabled on the FG itself, not a constituent volume.
