Im researching using DB2 PureScale and IBM's website lists the compatible shared storage devices here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/db2/11.5?topic=linux-shared-storage-support

Lenovo sans arent shown, but Netapp IS there. Since Lenovo is based on Netapp, I'm assuming they are compatible too?

Lenovo DM series runs ONTAP, so probably will be fine.

Do not assume compatibility or that things are universally the same. Lenovo does not support AIX, which is why they are not listed on IBM's support.

Yeah, functionally it’ll almost certainly work, but you won’t have support if it doesn’t - Lenovo provides first level support and in case of differences, it almost certainly means their teams aren’t resourced to assist with it.

With regards generally, but in regards to Linux mpio, that’s up to Linux to support - and that’ll work fine, but for the question of db2, IBM gets to decide what they support and they would be within their rights to say they don’t support Lenovo DM
