Our new grid has been up for a few months now and starting to see a few issues pop up. Auto-support is enabled and sending successfully. Being new to supporting Storage Grid, I have a few questions:

  1. Is auto-support supposed to open tickets like FAS does? For instance, when an SFP failure occurs, etc.
  2. When opening tickets for Storage Grid hardware, do I open a ticket using Storage Grid as the option and it's associated serial number?

Hello, 1. For me ASUP is a little less proactive than for FAS. Most cases need to be opened manually, like SFP and drive failures. 2. I do the same and it works 🙂
