Hi! can anybody help explain on how the export policy works? I just needed to check if certain clients has a Read/Write Access on the Shares. But upon checking on the GUI, it has now Access Protocols, Read-Only Rule, Read/Write Rule and SuperUser Access.

The Client I was checking on has the following rules:
Access Protocol : Any
Read-Only Rule: Any
Read/Write Rule: Never
SuperUser Access: Any

What does this values mean and are these value mean it has Read and Write Access to these shares?

Any inputs would be much appreciated. currently a newbie to the NFS Exports. Thank you!

This rule would mean clients have read-only access since read-write is set to never.

So once I set the read-write rule to any. It will make the client to have a read and write access?
