I have a FC only Lun only SVM that keeps kicking LDAP errors at me when I try to update the LDAP servers: "LDAP client "ldap_r2" is owned by the admin storage VM." Do I really need LDAP on a SAN-only SVM? I just updated to OS 9.9 after finally getting our 8040s heads ejected leaving the 8200s. This is one of those systems with layers and layers of cruft from about a decade of use/migrations/upgrades.

It was probably something related to the original setup. Props to NetApp for allowing so many layers of compatibility, this system ran OS 9.1 for years. The folks who would have known are all gone. So far I haven't seen any signs of the servers that use the luns having any problems after disabling LDAP for that SVM. I do the 9.10 upgrade on Monday, so doing everything I can to get it as clean as possible.
